Frosted Ice

Well it won't be long before Santa will be flying through the sky delivering presents to all the good boys and girls ( I hope you've been good LOL!) and with that in mind I have two final Christmas cards to show you, featuring the big man doing just that!

I used a fabulous download from www.crafting.co.uk it's called Night Sky - Frosted Ice and I love it!

Night Sky - Frosted Ice kit
Silver Mirri card
Die'sire Lace border 6 - Crafters Companion
Woven circle die - Memory Box
Metallic edged satin ribbon and gems - Meiflower

Night Sky - Frosted Ice kit
Silver Mirri card
Silver glittery strips - Wrapping ribbon - local Wilkinson's store
Metallic edged satin ribbon and satin flower - Meiflower

There is quite a bit of glamour dust on both of these cards unfortunately it doesn't show up very well in the photos.

I also thought I would pop this final Christmas card on so that they are all blogged by Christmas

Almost everything on this card is from a fabulous kit called Snow Buddies from Just so Scrappy
the only extras are the sentiment (not sure where that came from) and glamour dust.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my blog visitors and followers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy  New Year, I hope Santa brings you everything you wished for and you and your families thoroughly enjoy the holidays.

See you in the New Year,
hugs,
Colette xx

You can never have too much of a good Bling!!!

Not sure if I went a bit over the top with the bling on these two cards, but then again, I am a firm believer in the saying "You can never have too much bling or chocolate" LOL!

The first card was inspired by a wedding anniversary card I received from my friend Karen and the second one was a free digital stamp in one of my Complete Cardmaking Magazines - the wreath image was covered with different sized circles which were just begging (honestly, I could hear them, please bling us up they were saying hehe!) to have bling added to them!

Special Delivery

I recently saw a card on somebodies blog (can't remember where though) with a link to a tutorial, I loved the shape and style of card, so I followed the link, and then followed the tutorial, and made myself one.
I used the fabulous Special Stork Delivery Girl illustration by Sassy Cheryl, which I picked up at Paper Creator a while ago and some gorgeous digital baby papers from lliella designs at Sweet Shoppe, I also used some digital flowers from Fred she Said to decorate the card.

Card Tutorial - From my Craft room blog
Papers - Baby Girl by lliella designs at Sweet Shoppe
Flowers - Pink and Mellow Freebie - Fred she Said

Ribbon, gems and pink dummy - Meiflower

I really like the way this turned out, can see me doing more of this style in the future.

Paper Creator challenge #2

The next Paper Creator challenge starts today (a couple of days late, due to unforeseen circumstances) and this time around the theme chosen by Christina is

Black, White and One other Colour

I decided to use the Sassy Cheryl illustration Christmas Star Angel for my card and teamed it up with some red and black digi papers. I printed the image out twice and attached the stars head and dress with foam pads for a bit of dimension.

Christmas Banner - Computer Generated
Glamour dust on stars and Angel's dress
Ribbon and gems - Meiflower

Pop over to the Paper Creator challenge blog and check out the fabulous inspiration from the other girls, and don't forgot to enter our challenge, you do not have to use Paper Creator products, but will get an extra entry if you do, and you could win a £10 voucher to spend in store. The challenge will run for two weeks so plenty of time to get your entries in.

I thought I would share this card with you today, the Teddy Bo DT are officially on Christmas Break, but I couldn't resist using this little beauty to make one last card. Papers - from my box of scraps
Teddy Bea background paper - lliella and K Miller - snow friends.
Whimsical flourish - Memory Box die
