...When it's a backing paper of course LOL!
It's time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter today and this time around the theme is
Recycle - use something recycled on your creation
bet that blog title is starting to make sense now!
There are great prizes up for grabs! If you are our randomly selected winner and play with a TPS image then you have a chance of winning a $30 gift certificate, any other image and you will win three digis of your choice.
So just in case the blog post title didn't give it away, I have recycled the wrapper from a bar of Galaxy bubbles chocolate, mmmmm, yummy! a delicious present from my good friend Karen. The paper is a lovely metallic brown colour with yellow gold rings all over it and as I was licking the chocolate off the wrapper brushing chocolate crumbs from the wrapper :-) I knew it would be perfect for this challenge. The red glitter hearts were die-cut and punched from a Christmas card.
I made an easel card with a little tag tucked in behind the main image.

This is just gorgeous Colette and I would never have thought to use a chocolate wrapper for backing paper - fabulous idea and I'm going to be hunting around for some gorgeous papers myself now!
Have a great weekend.

WONDERFUL idea to use the foil candy wrapper. I always smooth out my Hershey Kisses wrappers and my little square Dove wrappers wondering if the company would accept these and do a 'refill'. Hahahhaa. This card is fabulous. Love the image and those swirls over the top edge are fabulous. What a wonderful card! Hugs, Gail
