A card for a baby girl

Firstly I'd like to wish my youngest daughter Meg a very happy birthday, I know she often comes on and checks out my blog when she is trawling the internet, so Happy Birthday Sweetie!, she will be 24 today, which makes me feel ancient as she is my baby LOL!

Here's a card I made a few weeks ago, I fell in love with the digi stamp after seeing it used on THIS card on Christine's blog, so off I went to the store where it fell into my basket along with some other cuties!

Image- Night night LIttle One - All Dressed Up
Papers - Grin and Bear it - Nitwit Collections
Billie's circle die - Joy Crafts
Shoes - Marianne Creatables LR0303
Memory Box - Library alphabet tags
Ribbon and pearls - Meiflower
Button and Twine - Stash

I mentioned in my last post that hubby and I had been out for Afternoon tea to a posh and very high (34th floor) restaurant on the Liverpool waterfront as part of our Silver wedding anniversary present from my daughter Stacy, well here are a few pics of the view from our table.

along the waterfront from the Liver buildings and through the Albert Dock

Looking inland, with the Catholic cathedral to the far left, the Anglican cathedral to the far right and St John's beacon standing tall.

The ferry cross the Mersey, coming into the Pier head
(bet it looks a bit different from your days Christine)

this was presented to us by our waitress, what a lovely gesture!

Well that's the lot folks,
off to celebrate Meg's birthday with cake and wine, mmm yummy!

Thanks for visiting,
hugs,
Colette xx

Your card is absolutely fabulous Colette... of course I love that rabbit... and your colouring and layout is perfect! So glad I inspired you a little!

And yes... the waterfront is so different that 'my day' - but hey... I'm not THAT old!! LOL! My youngest is 28 now - so am a bit older than you... but was appalled when the woman at the till in Morrisons the other day told me I should use my bus pass to get into Leeds! I don't have one yet!! But back to the point... I can't believe how much the place has changed since I moved to the Isle of Wight in 2002! And some bits not for the better I don't think... how can they put an oblong box alongside those wonderful three graces!!

The view from where you ate was SO stunning.... actually looking down at the Liver building... (I've been up to those birds btw!) So glad you enjoyed your meal... and wow to that little anniversary touch!

And now lastly.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEG!!

Big hugs
