Charming!

It's time for a new challenge over at The Paper Creator challenge blog and the theme is
You don't have to use a Paper Creator product to be in with a chance of winning a £10 gift certificate to spend in store, but if you do you get an extra entry into the random draw.

For my challenge card I used a fab kit called Corset 6x6 card kit, I printed out all the pages and then used them to make a centre step card, instead of the intended square card, which is why these kits are so fab, they are really versatile and don't have to be used just as shown.

The card shape and scalloped mat layers were die cut.

Image, papers, sentiment - Corset 6x6 card kit - Paper Creator
Card base and scalloped layers - Step card cutting die -  Presscuts by Crafts Too
Marietta Buckle - Memory box
Tonic Layering dies - scallop circle
X-cut Palm punch - Large Flower
Wink of Stella - Clear Glitter brush pen
Sparkly black hearts from my friend Donna
Perfume atomiser charm - stash
Ribbon - Meiflower

Pop over to the Paper Creator challenge blog and check out the fab inspiration from the rest of my teamies,

Thanks for dropping in,
have a lovely weekened,

Digital Papers - Snow Princess and Solids- Nitwit Collections
EK success slim edger punch - Bracket
Flowers - Stash
Ribbons - Meiflower

Well the holiday is over!

Eric and I have enjoyed a lovely break in Anglesey over the last few days, we were really lucky with the weather with bright sunshine and warmth every day. The cottage we stayed in was about 20 feet, at most, from the waters edge when the tide was in, and every room had a window overlooking the sea. We came back feeling relaxed and refreshed yesterday, picked Meg up from respite this morning at 10 o'clock and by 11 0'clock there was music blaring all over the house, and toileting and personal care stuff to attend to, and it felt like we had never been away LOL!

When I got home yesterday, I found that the postman had delivered the latest issue of Complete Cardmaking, Magazine. The magazine comes with a free CD containing digi stamps, images and papers from various companies. This time around there are stamps from the Paper Nest Dolls, papers and toppers from Crafters Companion, a Sarah Paris Christmas kit (digi stamps and papers - which I was lucky enough to get to play with) and a couple of Daisy Trail kits for those of you who use Serif Craft Artist.

Here's one of the cards I made for this issue.

Paper and digital stamps - Sarah Paris Digi-kit - Complete cardmaking issue 52 Free CD
Kraft Card - Anna Marie Designs
X-cut Large Palm punch - Holly Branch
Nellie Snellen Pine branch die
Spray Adhesive
Glamour Dust
Stick on pearls - Meiflower

I still have another eight cards made from this collection so I will be showing them over the coming weeks.

Thanks for visiting,

Ribbon, Floss or twine

It's time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter, and this time our theme is

If you take part using a Paper Shelter image you could win a $30 gift certificate to spend in store, if you win with any other image you get to choose 3 digital stamps from the store, so you're onto a good thing either way.

When you purchase digi stamps from the Paper Shelter you also get a pre-coloured version and for this challenge I have used the pre-coloured image Vanity. I added the sentiment before printing and printed the image out several times so that I could decoupage it.

Pre-coloured image - Vanity - The Paper Shelter
Papers - Pretty as a Peacock - A-manda Creation
Feather die - Joy Crafts - Billies garden - Feather
Ribbons and gems - Meiflower

Another view to show the decoupage layers.

Pop over to The Paper Shelter challenge blog and check out the fabulous inspiration from the rest of my teamies, and don't forget to play along with our challenge for a chance to win one of the great prizes on offer.

Thanks for popping in,
