Di's Digi's Baby scales and freebie baby date stamp

I loooooovvvvvve this baby digi stamp from Di's Digi downloads, it's soooo cute and I couldn't wait to colour it,  although I had to, as I have had my hands full looking after the grandchildren. I finally managed to get it done and made up into a couple of cards at the end of last week.
My oldest daughters half brother and sister are both expecting baby girls, her brother any day now and her sister next month, we already know the name of her brothers baby, so I made up a date stamp and added the month, year and baby's name before printing, just need to circle the date once baby arrives.
The square card was a sample for Meiflower, using some of her wooden embellishments.

Papers - Welcome Home Baby - Crazy-4-monograms (colour tweaked in Photoshop)
Lifestyle Nesting Dies - Doily Square
LeCrea Multi die - Flower 002
Cheery Lyn - Leaf Flourish strip
Tonic small boot punch - Daisy
Satin ribbon and Pearls - Meiflower

Details as above plus
Martha Stewart Punch - Layered arches
Wooden embellishments, Pearl heart buckle, metallic edged ribbon and pink gems - Meiflower

If you would like the date stamp you can snag it from here, it's a .png file (transparent) so you can print it onto coloured paper and the colour will show through.
Just left click to enlarge, right click image and then save as...
As it's a .png file it may not show up too well when you enlarge it but will download correctly.

here's the boy version too.

Cosmetics easel card

I made this card for a friend who loves her perfumes and make up. I wanted these things to be the main focus of the card, so came up with this shaped easel card. The whole design is done in layers, including the little eye shadow compact which was fiddly but worth it, as it looks really effective in real life.

Ribbon, yellow and crystal gems, pink sequin blossoms (flower centre's)

Teddy Bo Tuesday

It's the start of a new month and that means new releases and a new challenge at Teddy Bo.
We are going to keep the theme of our challenges as
Anything Goes
but as Valentines day is coming up we would love to see some of your love inspired cards too.
You will have until Sunday 3rd March to get your entries in.

On Saturday evening I went to see Donny and Marie Osmond who are touring with their Las Vegas show, I went with my friend Julie and her daughter Alison and can I just say WOW!!! what a fabulous show, I wasn't a particularly big Donny fan in the 70's but Julie always rings me before she books anything to see if I want to go and I always say yes, a night out is a night out after all! It was definitely one of the best shows I have seen, Marie Osmond has a phenomenal voice and can sing any style of music, she did an amazing version of Pie Jesu, which had the whole arena on their feet for a very long ovation. Donny came out into the audience and was totally mobbed, the lady sitting next to me, managed to kiss him and get a kiss back, she told me all about it throughout the interval she was totally gobsmacked!
The Liverpool show was the last of the tour, but if they come back again, try and go see them, I know I'll be there again.

 Now back to Teddy Bo

The Wedding Couple

Today I have two cards to show you (using a fabulous Redonkulous image), which are exactly the same except for the flowers used on them. I had just finished one as a sample for Meiflower using her gorgeous satin ribbon flowers, when my daughter arrived and asked if I could do her one the same for a friend who is getting married next weekend. I had just taken delivery of my newest (and favouritist!!!) flower die and couldn't wait to use it and this gave me the perfect opportunity.

Digital Papers - Always and Forever and With this Ring too - Nitwits Collections

Paper Creator Challenge 3 - Circular Easel

Time for a new challenge over at Paper Creator and this time around our theme is going to be.....
A Circular Easel Card
(There is a Twisted Circular Easel template available in store on Special Offer for only £1 at the moment)

So if you fancy being in with a chance to win £10 to spend in store then pop over to the challenge blog and link your circular easel card up. You don't have to use Paper Creator products to enter but if you do you'll get an extra entry in the random draw.

I used one of the toppers from the Bumper Topper Selection on my card. The image I wanted to use was the largest on the topper sheet (almost A5 size) which would have been too big for my project, so I printed the sheet out at A5 size and my topper was just right.
