For the birthday girl

The theme of  the new challenge starting today at the Paper Shelter is...

a pretty easy, self explanatory theme I think.

There are great prizes up for grabs! If you are our randomly selected winner and play with a TPS image then you have a chance of winning a $30 gift certificate, any other image and you will win three digis of your choice.

As I am mega busy at the moment I decided to use an image that I had coloured previously and pair it up with a fabulous word art that I cut on my Silhouette Cameo. I had cut the background image away from the digi stamp before printing and knew that she would be just perfect for perching on the top of one of the letters in the word art. I printed the rest of the sentiment straight onto the background paper, added the Fabulous word art and used foam pads behind the digi-stamp to give a bit of dimension. I then punched out, shaped and layered some daisies before finishing it all off with bling and a bow.

Digital stamp - Retro Chic (altered) - The Paper Shelter
Paper from my scrap box
Fabulous - Silhoutte digital cutting file
X-cut med and large daisy punch
Ribbon and gems - Meiflower

Peeking Bella

I'm off to see Olly Murs at the Livepool Echo Arena tomorrow evening and then early Friday I'm heading to Bournemouth for a weekend break, we are going with a group of people we became friendly with on our holiday to Lake Como last year and have kept in touch since, (we are actually going to Lake Garda with them in September this year too).
While I'm away I thought I would leave you with a mid-challenge reminder for the Paper Shelter and our All About Mum theme. I have once again made a Mother's day card, this time using one of the Sassy Cheryl pre-coloured images, called Polka Dot Bella.

I re-sized and printed Bella out 3 times and then fussy cut her so that I could arrange her in die-cut windows across the front of my card.

Polka Dot Bella - Sassy Cheryl at Paper Creator
Papers - Hello Sunshine collection - Nitwits
Ribbons and gems - Meiflower

You have until the end of the month to enter the challenge and be in with the chance of winning a £10 gift voucher to spend in store, so what are you waiting for?

Thanks for dropping in,
take care,

Time MARCHes on!

It really does, can you believe that we are at the beginning of March already, and that can only mean one thing here at Digiredoodah, a new Paper Creator monthly challenge. Our theme for March is...

pretty handy seeing as we have mother's day here in the UK towards the end of the month.

The challenge winner will receive a £10 store credit to spend in the Paper Creator store.

Paper Creator products are not essential, but you will gain an extra entry into the random draw if using them. The challenge runs for the whole of the month and the winner is announced at the start of the next month's challenge

I have used the gorgeous Flutterby Wishes 6x6 card kit, layering the elements up onto a blue card blank. The kit contains both a printed and blank sentiment panel so that you can add your own message if you prefer, which is exactly what I did, I also added ribbon across the top corner of the butterfly panel, with a bow, and shaped and layered up 3 of the flowers in the kit, to make a 3D flower, I finished off with gems in flower centre, at sides of sentiment and in a couple of the corners.
