The Birthday Boy

It's the start of a new challenge at D'Arcy's Diaries and the theme this time around is...

Buttons and Bows - you have to use both on your card or project.

For some reason I always seem to end up doing boy cards, even though I prefer, pink and glittery!
Anyway here is what I came up with, using one of this weeks new releases.

Image -DD_042 - Coloured in Photoshop
Square Kraft Card Blank - Every Crafts a Pound
Digital background paper - Kraft Capers - Pink Paislee
BOY paper - The Playground Collection - Creativity by Crystal
Buttons and metallic cord - Meiflower

Check out this week's new releases

and don't forget to pop over to the D'Arcy's Diaries challenge blog to see all this weeks fantastic creations by the design team.

I mentioned in Tuesday's post that I was going out that evening to see the Dancing on Ice tour, well it was fantastic, had a bit of a sore throat yesterday from all the shouting and cheering, but thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, can't wait for next year LOL!

Hugs,
Colette xx

The image is just great for a boy and is beautifully coloured in. The digital effects make the birthday seem like it is die cut letters. Love it!
