Two fairies, two cards.

Here are a couple of cards I made just before Christmas, but am only just getting around to showing. They both use images from Fairydoodler and papers from The Clipart Fairy.

The first one is my entry to Fairydoodlers latest challenge, using her freebie image, her digi stamps are gorgeous, make sure you pop over and check them out. I coloured the image with water colour pencils, unfortunately I'm not brilliant at the whole colouring in thing and intend to spend some time this coming year learning how to be better, especially as Santa brought me all those Aquamarkers. The paper and letter J came from the Rose collection on Clipart Fairy's Modern Heritage Double CD Rom, which is full of elegant papers, alphabets, inserts, ideas and tutorials.

It's a pop up box card, which folds flat for posting

but 'pops up' when taken out of the envelope

I used an X cut punch and black card for the flowers and black ribbon and pink flat back pearls from stash. Papers, J and pop up section all have a generous sprinkling of Glamour Dust around the edges.

The second card, was made using the freebie image Clara (no longer available as a freebie) for Fairydoodlers previous challenge, which I only found after it was too late to enter, but I loved the image, she looks so mischievious!
My sister-in-law Carole, has a great saying on a fridge magnet which I have been dying to use and when I saw Clara I knew she would be perfect with it.
The lilac background paper again came from the Clipart Fairy, this time from the Silk Ribbons Lilac set, silver card punched with Martha Stewart border punch, paper rose and purple flat back pearls, silver ribbon all from stash. Clara was coloured with watercolour pencils.
Carole has already bagsied this card for her daughters birthday next month.

The silver ribbon is attached to a slider which pulls out and has the sentiment printed on it.

OMG!!! You have made me tingle all over!!!!!!! They are WONDERFUL!!! Can I show off "Clara" on the site seeing as how we closed the first challenge before you'd finished?!?!?

PS....I'm 9 years old!!!!! ;o)

Wow! Don't like clowns (as you know) but this Pierrot doesn't scare me. Yet again, an unusual card. And you know I will have to see it, to know how it works!?
As for the lilac card - fabulous, love the colour.
I am 10 when over-excited (i.e. when I get new craft stuff) and 22 in my head (when I was happiest!)
Once again your amazing talent shines through.
