We have a new challenge starting today at The Paper Shelter and the theme is...
There are great prizes up for grabs! If you are our randomly
selected winner and play with a TPS image then you have a chance of winning a
$30 gift certificate, any other image and you will win three digis of your
choice.
I enquired if Mr Google had any templates for stair cards, he directed me to Mrs Pinterest and she immediately obliged LOL!
I copied the template into Photoshop and added different digital scrapbook papers to the appropriate sections, which was a bit fiddly, (but less fiddly than having to measure and cut the papers to the various shapes). I printed straight onto Papermill linen card, then cut and scored as necessary before folding the card to shape.
After colouring, I fussy cut the dragon image leaving a narrow white border so that he would stand out against the yellow background, then added punched borders, ribbon, buttons, die-cut letters and a computer generated sentiment to finish off.
Digital Stamp - Dragon's Birthday - The Paper Shelter
Papers and tag - My birthday Boy digital scrapbook kit - Just So Scrappy
Tonic Geared punch - Dotty border
Sentiments - computer generated
Buttons and Bakers twine - Stash
Ribbon - Meiflower
Marianne Craftables mini alphabet and garland die CR1281
Aly's Inky Fingers - Molly Moo alphabet dies
