I decided to design myself a shaped card, why on earth I decided on such an awkward shape I don't know, I wanted something a little bit different, but when I was cutting out the card shape and papers I wished I'd just gone for something more straightforward LOL!

Next month my hubby and I will be celebrating 25 years of marriage, and as it happens Meg is going into respite the week of our anniversary, so we decided to treat ourselves to a little holiday, we can't book anything until the day Meg goes, as right up until the last minute we could have to cancel her respite stay if she becomes unwell.
As it's a special anniversary this year, we decided we would look for some Luxury self catering accommodation (I prefer self-catering as we are up a couple of times a night toileting and turning Meg, so when we go away I want to be able to get up when I am ready, not for some preordained breakfast time that is far too early).
Anyway while perusing the internet I came across a place called Brickhouse farm holiday cottages, in Poulton-le-fylde, only just over an hour away from home, but handy for travelling into the Lakes and Yorkshire, and while reading about the facilities at the accommodation I was thrilled to realise that all of the cottages had wide doorways, profiling beds and wet rooms, with the use of a wheeled shower chair (all the things we have at home for Meg), and a couple of the cottages also had ceiling track hoists (a necessity for us) and a hot tub with a hoist for getting in and out. It's so rare to find somewhere to take Meg on holiday that has all the equipment that we need that I decided to contact the cottages straight away to see if there was any availability for June next year in one of the cottages with a hot tub, but they were fully booked from May right through until the end of September. Erica, the very helpful young lady I spoke to, told me that they had a provisional booking for the first week in May and that she would chase it up for me, and if the people didn't want it, we could have it. She called me back a few minutes later to say it was ours if we wanted it, so I paid my deposit and our holiday is booked yaaaayyyyy!
I'm still looking for somewhere for hubby and I for our anniversary!
Don't forget to pop over to the Paper Creator challenge blog and check out the fabulous inspiration from the rest of my teamies.

Colette xx
