Can U hear me now

Phew, what a busy week I've had, been making Christmas card samples for Meiflower, mainly using her Crystal blossom sequins, diamante ribbon sliders and buttons, will be showing them over the next week or two. I still have a few wedding invitations to show and some Christmas samples for Crafty Devils using Papermania At Christmas and Tilly daydreams collections and some Hobby house toppers, just don't seem to be able to find the time to get them all blogged.

Today I have a card made using a Sassy Cheryl illustration, available from Paper Creator.

So if you would like to be in with a chance of winning $30 to spend on My Besties digi images, then just pop over to the challenge blog and link up your fabulous creations using a My Bestie image.

My anything but a card make was inspired by this post HERE, I loved the idea of turning a pillow box into a little handbag.
I made my pillow box almost A5 size, so it would be the perfect packaging for a scarf and gloves, or some make-up or jewellery.

Anything Goes Challenge

My craft room is finally getting back to some sort of order, I managed to get about half of the stuff back in last weekend, although we had the new boiler fitted in the week and I think I am going to have to empty everything out again to give the whole room a clean, there is a fine layer of brick dust over everything, but I will hopefully manage to get it all back in over this weekend, especially as it's a bank holiday here in the UK so we get an extra day, woohoo!

Today is the start of our easy-peasy Anything Goes challenge over on the Paper Creator blog. You don't have to use Paper Creator products to enter but if you do you get two entries in the draw, and the randomly picked winner, gets £10 to spend in store, so if you have a card made why not enter, after all you've got to be in it, to win it!

We are more than half way through the invitations now, only another six to go and we are done.
Today we have a pocket style invitation, I used the end of a die to cut the fancy opening and die cut a heart shaped window for the names to show through.

Festive Home

Here's a sample card I made for Crafty Devils using some of the Papermania At Christmas collection.

The Christmas door is made using die cut decoupage, the papers are from the matching paper pack, the gorgeous velvet ribbon is from the same collection and I added a few die cut poinsettias and some jingle bells to finish it off.

Hoot hoot, give it a kick!

Now I know that title probably has you totally confused, but it's just a little play on the names of the Paper Creator card kits I used for today's cards. I am late posting them, because I've had a very busy day clearing out my craft room - what a job! and how on earth did I accumulate so much stuff?
My lovely hubby also took me to Ikea this evening to buy some more storage, so hopefully when I've had a big sort out and put everything back it will all have a place to call home and I will be more organised (some hope LOL!!!)
I've had to clear it out because we are having a new boiler fitted and of course it's tucked into a corner of my room, so it has forced me - ahem!- given me the perfect opportunity to clear it out, sort it out, move it around and tidy it up, and it's amazing the amount of things (usually dies in my case, hehe!) you find that you had forgotten you even had.

Anyway enough of all that and on to today's cards

This one is from the Curved Front Aperture card Mega bundle, which contains 10 card kits and is on offer for only £5 at the moment. I just happened to have the Nitwits What a hoot collection that the kit was designed with, so printed out a flower from the kit to add to the top of the card.

This Kick It 6x6 card kit is very easy to put together and ideal for boys of all ages.
I just added some polka dot buttons and ribbon in one of the local team colours and a fab football shirt charm from Meiflower.

Have a lovely weekend,

Wedding Invitation #9

The paper on today's invitation was made by rubbing a pink ink pad over the inside front of an embossing folder, before placing a sheet of pearl paper in and running it through the machine. The colour transfers to the flat parts of the paper but the embossing stays white. I love the effect!

Wedding Invitation #8

Here's another simple design, I didn't have lace wide enough so used 2 layers, which made it a little bit more fiddly, but with wide lace it would be quick and easy. I threaded the ribbon through two diamante ribbon sliders to make it a bit more blingy.

All at Sea!

That title explains exactly how I feel at the moment  LOL! as well as having a reference to today's cards.
I still don't know if I'm coming or going, although I am beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel, and if that is not already enough cliche's for you then I'll give you one more - I think the end is in sight haha!

Just finished twenty one card samples for Crafty Devils (14 of which are Christmas cards) using some of the new Papermania goodies and Hobby house toppers, so lots more blogging to be done, and we are still only about halfway through the wedding invitations!

Today I have a couple of nautical themed cards for you (see the title does make sense) both suitable for young boys, and both made with kits from Paper Creator.

The first one is Noah's Flipper Pyramage kit which is part of a Mega bundle containing 10 Flipper kits for £7 the only other thing on the card is some gingham ribbon from Meiflower.

The second uses the Sail Away 6 x 6 card kit to which I've added a little wooden boat embellishment I found in my stash, and some ribbon and pearls from Meiflower.

Silver ribbon and diamante heart topper - Meiflower

Hope you are not getting too bored with the invitations, I still have another 9 to show you!

Wedding invitation #6

Once again a nice and easy invitation, a couple of squares of card, a bit of embossing and all layered up with ribbon between layers. I added the feather because the top looked a bit bare, but you could print the names above the ribbon and the date below and leave the feather off.

Wedding invitation #4

Here we are back to the wedding invitations and today I have one that is a little more complicated, looks good, but if you had 50 or 60 to make you wouldn't want all the fiddling around this one entails, wouldn't be too bad for a small wedding though.

Wedding Invitation #3

Firstly I would like to wish my beautiful daughter a happy 30th birthday, have a great day Stacy.  OMG! I can't believe I am a mother to a 30 year old, makes me feel ancient LOL!

Today's wedding invitation is another simple design, made more luxurious by the use of beautiful cream lace and a diamante ribbon slider and diamante heart embellishment stuck together to make a super blingy topper.

Wedding Day card

Still on the wedding theme but an actual Wedding Day card today instead of an invitation today. I had seen these heart bride and grooms around blog land and decided that I would have a go at making a card using them., although it mainly came about because I made a Civil Partnership card for a friend to give to her son and his partner on their wedding day, and the groom was a practice piece before making the larger and different coloured ones for the actual card.
The groom heart seemed a bit lonely lying around in my craft room so I decided to make him a mate and put them on a card, so that they can be together forever  awww! LOL!

The "bride" was made using a piece of pink scrap card I had lying around, but next time I think I would use a more fleshy colour.
